I initially started painting simply as a hobby and from 2009 I started painting full time. My work are full of emotion and movement, focussing specifically on East Free State landscapes, that are colourful with spectacular clouds and atmosphere. My works are in either oils or acrylics.

Exhibitions

I did a solo exhibition in 2009. I travel all over South Africa to all the all major art festivals. I frequent the Irene market in Pretoria. I do private home exhibitions, I've exhibited at the Lesotho Sun International. And I can be found in one of my favourite towns Clarens.

Love the Free State

Having lived in Ladybrand for 34 years, we recently moved back to Bloemfontein and I have to admit, I just love the Free State. It's meandering hills, the landscapes of beauty and vastness and the clouds! Perfect inspiration for my artworks.
